# Associate confirmation SMS to events

The [**confirmation SMS that you have created**](https://www.tucalendi.com/en/s/email-notifications/sms-confirmation-setting) and customized can be associated with the events you want in a very simple way. This way, your customers will receive an **SMS** on the **mobile phone** they entered when booking from your **TuCalendi online calendar**.

> [!CAUTION]
> **IMPORTANT**: The mobile phone number of the client who will receive the notifications must be requested in the event [data collection form](https://www.tucalendi.com/en/s/flows/how-to-create-flows-for-forms). To do this, add the **"Mobile phone"** option in the **"Default form elements"**.

> [!CAUTION]
> **IMPORTANT**: As of October 1, 2023, the **"Confirmation"** field no longer exists in the event options menu. This customization of events must now be done from the **workflows**.
> **It is necessary** to [create workflows](https://www.tucalendi.com/en/s/flows/include-sending-sms-in-a-workflow) to associate the **confirmation template** with your customers when they make a reservation with you.
