When you join an affiliate program, you get a unique tracking link that you can use to link to the merchant's website. This link tracks any sales made to customers who have clicked through from your link. It is important that you use this link and don't just link directly to the merchant's website.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a unique URL assigned to a specific affiliate that is used to track the traffic and sales generated from a particular website or source. This code is usually provided by an affiliate marketing program and is used to track the sales and commissions associated with the link. If a visitor clicks the affiliate link and performs the action that an advertiser pays a commission for, the affiliate gets paid.
How to get an affiliate link?
To get an affiliate ID, you must have an account with us. If you don't have one yet, you are welcome to create a free account here.
- Create an account with TuCalendi
- Go to Account in your dashboard
- Click on the Affiliate tab
- Create your Affiliate ID
- Copy or create the affiliate link
- Share the link
- When visitors click the affiliate link and create a paid Pro account, you get a commission
What does the affiliate link look like?
An affiliate link looks like any other URL or hyperlink. The only difference is that the affiliate link has extra information at the end of the URL through the use of URL parameters. An affiliate link typically includes a unique identifier that tracks any sales made through the link back to the affiliate. It might look something like this: https://www.tucalendi.com/?tcl_aff=myaffid.
The affiliate URL parameter that TuCalendi uses is tclaff. If your affiliate ID is 12345, you can append the URL parameter to any TuCalendi link. For example, if you want to link directly to our registration page, you can create the link like this: https://www.tucalendi.com/en/register/?tclaff=12345
