Key Concepts in TuCalendi 3.0: CNAME, Subdomains, and Multiple Brands
TuCalendi 3.0 features a new structure designed to offer greater flexibility to companies, teams, and organizations that need to manage different brands, services, or business units from a single account.
In another tutorial, we already explained what the new meetfy.me domain is. In this article, we’ll look at other important concepts to keep in mind after migration, especially if you use custom domains, work with multiple brands, or want to maintain a distinct visual identity for each one.
1. What is a CNAME in TuCalendi
A CNAME allows you to use your own domain or subdomain to display your public TuCalendi pages with a custom address. Instead of using only a meetfy.me subdomain, you can set up your own address, for example:
reservations.yourcompany.com
This way, your customers can access your booking pages, hubs, or surveys from a domain that belongs to your brand.
| Concept | What it means |
| meetfy.me subdomain | Public address created within the TuCalendi 3.0 structure |
| CNAME | DNS record that allows you to connect your own domain or subdomain to TuCalendi. |
| Custom domain | Your company’s own address, such as reservations.yourcompany.com. |
| DNS provider | The service where your domain’s technical settings are managed. |
This type of configuration usually requires access to the provider where you manage your company’s domain. If you don’t know where it’s managed, check with your technical team, web provider, or the company that manages your domain.
2. What’s new with CNAME in TuCalendi 3.0
In the previous version of TuCalendi, the CNAME record was primarily intended for booking pages. In TuCalendi 3.0, this feature is more extensive and can be applied to various public elements of the account, such as hubs, meeting types, booking pages, and surveys.
This allows a brand to maintain a more consistent presence across all points where the customer interacts with TuCalendi.
| In previous versions | In TuCalendi 3.0 |
| The CNAME was primarily applied to booking pages. | CNAME can be used on more public elements. |
| Domain customization was more limited. | Customization can now extend to hubs, meeting types, booking pages, and surveys. |
| The structure was less suited for multiple brands within a single account. | The new structure allows for working with multiple subdomains and multiple CNAMEs. |
Thanks to this change, TuCalendi 3.0 offers a higher level of customization for companies that need to maintain brand identity throughout the booking process.
3. Which elements can use CNAME in TuCalendi 3.0
In TuCalendi 3.0, CNAME can be applied to various public elements, depending on the plan purchased and the account settings.
| Element | What it allows you to customize |
| Hubs | Allows you to display a hub of meeting types under a custom domain. |
| Meeting Types | Allows you to share links to specific meetings with a custom address. |
| Booking pages | Allows you to keep booking pages within the brand’s domain. |
| Surveys | Allows you to use surveys or forms with routing under a custom URL. |
This is especially useful when a company wants the end user to perceive the entire process as part of the same brand, from the initial link to the booking or survey.
4. Availability by plan
The CNAME feature is not included in all plans. In TuCalendi 3.0, CNAME is available starting with the Pro Plan or higher.
The Basic Plan, which is completely free, does not include the CNAME feature. Basic Plan users can use the meetfy.me subdomain structure, but they will not be able to connect a custom domain via CNAME.
| Plan | CNAME Available | What the user can do |
| Basic | No | Use your meetfy.me subdomain. |
| Pro | Yes | Create CNAME records to use custom domains. |
| Enterprise | Yes | Access custom solutions for multi-brand, multi-domain, and multiple CNAME scenarios. |
To access advanced options such as multi-brand, multi-domain, or multiple CNAMEs, TuCalendi offers customized pricing based on each specific case within the Enterprise Plan. You can view general information on the TuCalendi pricing page and request a custom plan via the contact page.
5. A single account can have multiple subdomains and multiple CNAMEs
One of the key advantages of the new TuCalendi 3.0 structure is that a single account can work with one or more subdomains and also with multiple CNAMEs.
This is designed for companies that manage different brands, business lines, departments, or projects from a single location. In these cases, the TuCalendi team can prepare a customized proposal within the Enterprise Plan, tailored to the specific needs of each organization.
For example, a company could have several brands, and each of them could use its own public identity within TuCalendi.
| Example structure | Possible use |
| brand1.meetfy.me | Main subdomain for a first brand. |
| brand2.meetfy.me | Separate subdomain for a second brand. |
| reservations.brand1.com | Custom CNAME for the first brand. |
| calendar.brand2.com | Custom CNAME for the second brand. |
This way, the company can centralize management in a single TuCalendi account while keeping each brand’s public identity separate.
6. Brand identity, logo, and favicon
In addition to the domain or subdomain, TuCalendi 3.0 allows you to better manage the visual identity associated with each brand. This means that each brand can use its own identity, its own logo, and its own favicon.
This structure is useful when a single company needs to offer differentiated experiences for its customers without having to create completely separate accounts for each brand.
| Identity element | What it’s for |
| Company or brand name | Helps the customer recognize who they are booking with. |
| Welcome message | Allows you to tailor the opening text to each brand’s tone. |
| Logo | Reinforces visual identity on public pages. |
| Favicon | Improves the visual identification of the page in the browser. |
| Subdomain or CNAME | Allows each brand to have a distinct public address. |
This approach offers greater control and a more professional presentation when managing multiple brands from a single organization.
7. When this new structure can be useful
The new structure of TuCalendi 3.0 is especially useful for companies that do not want to separate internal management but do need to differentiate the public experience of each brand.
| Use Case | How TuCalendi 3.0 helps |
| Company with multiple brands | Each brand can have its own subdomain, CNAME, and visual identity. |
| Agency managing different services | You can separate the public experience of each service without duplicating internal management. |
| Business group | You can centralize administration and differentiate the image of each unit. |
| Teams with different departments | Each department can use links and pages tailored to its activities. |
| Business with different audiences | You can create personalized experiences for each type of customer. |
In all these cases, the goal is the same: to manage everything from a centralized location, while offering a more personalized and consistent experience for each brand or business line.
